Aretha Franklin has celebrated more than 20 years as a recording artist. Known around the world by her first name, Aretha has achieved global recognition on an unprecedented scale. She has influenced generations of singers from Janis Joplin and Chaka Khan, to Natalie Cole and Mary J. Blige, to American Idol winner Fantasia Barrino and Oscar-winning Jennifer Hudson.

Aretha recorded dozens of chart-topping records. The Back To The Fifties Festival, Inc. is located in downtown Lebanon, Indiana. (Exit 139 just 20 minutes north of Indianapolis on I-65) There is no admissions charge. The Festival is the second Saturday after Labor Day in September. A Friday evening street dance (6-10PM) precedes the Saturday 9:00-4:30 event.
